Flood Basin Excavation Project: The County of San Bernardino Department of Public Works has contracted for maintenance of the San Timoteo Creek basins in the Redlands area. The project will include hauling material along San Timoteo Canyon Road between approximately Fern Avenue south to Redlands Boulevard and the 60 freeway in Moreno Valley. 2/2/2012 - City recommended to receive $5 million grant for flood control
The City of Redlands was notified this week that it has been recommended for a $5 million grant for improvement of a flood control project designed to protect downtown Redlands and other areas, including the University of Redlands and Redlands High School.

1/30/2012 - City Manager invites community to open forum
City Manager Enrique Martinez will hold his third public forum at the Redlands Community Center on Thursday, Feb. 2. The forums are held as part of the City’s continuing efforts to increase interaction with residents and local businesses and promote transparency in City affairs.

1/30/2012 - Redlands Community Center to host 7th Annual Talent Show
The Quality of Life’s Recreation Division is seeking volunteers and donations, such as gift cards from local businesses, for the 7th Annual Redlands Community Center Talent Show, Friday, March 16.

1/30/2012 - Don't let alcohol force you out of the game
The Avoid the 25 DUI Task Force will deploy special roving DUI patrols on Sunday, Feb. 5, in several communities throughout the area, including Redlands, in an effort to stop and arrest drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs. These DUI patrols are, in addition to regularly scheduled patrol officers, all looking for the tale-tell signs of an intoxicated driver behind the wheel.

Redlands residents can save time and reduce the peak demands on police patrols using CopLogic, a convenient, online option for filing non-emergency police reports.

1/17/2012 - Five drivers arrested for DUI this past weekend.
Four drivers were arrested for driving under the influence during a sobriety checkpoint Friday Jan. 13 at Tennessee Street and Park Avenue. One hundred thirty-seven drivers were screened at the checkpoint. Two drivers were cited for driving without a license.
