Evans & Co., a local hair salon, received the Mayor's Green Action Award for their efforts to reduce their own carbon footprint and aid the environment even outside of their local community.

EnerPath, a Redlands company that works throughout the U.S. and Canada to help homeowners and businesses become more energy efficient, received the Mayor's Green Action Award this month.

Make sure everyone in the family gets home safely this holiday season by buckling your seat belt every trip, day and night. That's the message that Redlands is telling drivers as part of the 2009 holiday Click It or Ticket mobilization, Nov. 17 - 30. Officers will be out in force looking for anyone - driver, passenger or child - not properly restrained.

11/16/2009 - Drunken driver arrested after he is spotted on camera
A 63-year-old Mentone man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol Friday night after he was spotted on downtown surveillance cameras stumbling to his vehicle and driving away.

11/16/2009 - Friends of Prospect Park donate to install surveillance cameras
On Tuesday, the Redlands City Council will receive a $50,000 donation from the Friends of Prospect Park to allow the Police Department to install a new camera surveillance system in the park.
