Equipment Maintenance
The Quality of Life Department's Equipment Maintenance Division is responsible for all routine maintenance and repair of the City's entire fleet. This includes 415 pieces of rolling stock, as well as 485 pieces of miscellaneous equipment that our seven mechanics (including one fire mechanic) currently service.
Our current fleet includes 18 vehicles fueled by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), and 10 vehicles fueled by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
Recently added to their long list of responsibilities Equipment Maintenance operates the new LNG/CNG Fueling Station which is located at the City's Corporate Yard at 1270 W. Park Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373. This LNG/CNG Fueling Station is open for the public to use. Its hours of operation are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday.
