Teams interested in participating in a city-sponsored league must pay all fees associated with the league, complete a City of Redlands registration packet and fill out a team questionnaire. Team registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are currently in the middle of our spring leagues, for registration information on our upcoming leagues please browse the pages below. Other Information:
Individual Players
The Redlands Community Center registers teams for all adult sports leagues.  Individual players that are interested in playing in any of our adult sports leagues and are not on a team may call the office at 798-7572 ext. 4 or e-mail either dschott@redlandspolice.org or jmuro@redlandspolice.org to find out how to join a team. Players seeking to join a team are encouraged to attend the manager meeting for the particular sport in which they are interested. Managers who are looking for additional players may contact our office to request the names of those individuals waiting to play in organized competition. Note this does not guarantee play in our leagues but is just a courtesy for our managers.

Non-Resident Fee Policy
Non-residents are defined as those who reside outside the City of Redlands. A non-resident fee is applied if more than 50% of a team resides outside of the city limits. These teams are required to pay an additional fee of $60 per team. If a team acquires a Redlands based sponsor, the fee will be waived for non-residents.

 Insurance Fees
All participants in adult sports programs are covered, in case of injury, by insurance provided by the Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation (SCMAF). Coverage provides for payment of medical costs of any injured player for up to $15,000. Such coverage is only provided when an officially rostered player is injured during the course of league play. Coverage does not provide for compensation of wages lost due to an injury. All participants play at their own risk. All claimants will be billed a $150.00 deductible.

Team Rosters
All participating teams must complete a team roster prior to registration. All players must sign the roster and include their address and phone number. Players can be added to or deleted from a team roster at anytime up to the 3rd game of the season, by completing an ADD/DELETE form and returning it to the scorekeeper PRIOR TO GAME TIME. All players must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

Team Questionnaire
Any team participating in a City of Redlands adult sports league must complete a team questionnaire. The information that each team provides will assist the adult sports office to place your team in an appropriate league.

Waiver Release Form
All adults participating in City of Redlands sports leagues are required to sign the City of Redlands Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement prior to the start of the first scheduled game. Any participant found playing without completing the waiver will result in individual and/or team suspension from the league.

How to Register

  1. In person registration is accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Community Center.
  2. Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. No partial payments are accepted.
  3. Make checks payable to the City of Redlands.
  4. A team roster, waiver release form, and team questionnaire must be completed and turned in at the time of registration.
  5. Leagues are subject to cancellation if minimum number of teams are not met within the league deadline.

Refund Policy

  1. All Leagues must meet a minimum number of teams to be held.
  2. If the City must cancel a league, teams may transfer to another league or receive a full refund.
