Unless otherwise noted, the following classes are held at the Redlands
Community Center. The season starting and ending dates, as well as the
registration period, are listed below each class. Some classes may include
multiple-family member discounts and early registration discounts that will
be applied at the time of registration.
How to Register
- Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- You may also register on-line. Click here to complete your user profile.
- No mail or phone registrations are accepted.
- Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. No partial payments are accepted.
- Make checks payable to the City of Redlands.

Sparks Youth Girls Football
Bringing one of the first all-girls football programs to the Southern California, Sparks Youth Girls Football
is a full-featured league designed to provide a positive, competitive, and safe football program
to the young girls of our community.
If you have any questions or would like to become a part of this organization, please contact
the director. We are currently looking for responsible members of the community who can help.

Redlands Youth Wrestling
Redlands Youth Wrestling is a youth program focused on teaching kids between the ages of 5 and 13
the fundamentals of collegiate style wrestling. In doing so we hope to produce the next generation of
successful student athletes. Practices are designed to be both challenging and instructive while
maintaining a high level fun.
Ages: 5 - 18
Cost: $39.00 per month

NJTL Youth Tennis
Sponsored by the National Junior Tennis League, our youth tennis program teaches all of the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and easy-to-learn way! Designed for beginners, children of all ages will work with instructors in small groups that focuses on technique and practice to achieve proper skill development.
Cost: $10.00 per season
Registration: Closed until next season.
Season begins: January 16, 2012 (Tues. and Thurs. from 5 to 7pm)
The Escola's Christmas Soccer Clinic
Fee: $30 or $45.00 for a 3 day Clinic
Clinic Session Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, December 27-December 29, 2011.
Clinic will be held at the Redlands Sports Complex. (Located at the northeast corner of Dearborn & San Bernardino Avenue).
Group #1 Ages: 3-5 yr old boys & girls - 10am - 11am T/W/TH $30.00
Group #2 Ages: 6-10 yr old boys & girls - 11am - 12:30pm T/W/TH- $45.00
Group #3 Ages: 11 & up boys & girls - 1:15pm - 2:45 pm-$45.00
Players are required to bring their own ball and beverages.
Size 3 ball for 3-7 yr olds; Size 4 for 8-12 yr olds; Size 5 for 13 yrs & up.
Individual training & additional clinics will be offered throughout the year. Program is held at the Redlands Sports Complex on the corner of Dearborn and San Bernardino Ave.

The City of Redlands offers a wide variety of adult sports leagues to compete in. Teams interested in participating in a league must pay all fees associated with the league and complete a registration packet within the registration period for that season.

Dance and Cheerleading [How to register]
The Redlands Community Center offers dance classes for all ages! There's a reason these programs are so popular, too, it's the instructors who whole-heartedly enjoy the practice they teach. Whether your daughter is just starting out in ballet, or you yourself have been ball-room rockin' for years, we've got something for the whole family.
Dance with Purpose
Learning to dance isn't always easy, but it's always fun in this class. Your child can start from the fundamentals of footwork and posture and work his or her way up to the masterful techniques of ballet, tap dancing, and more.
Note: Dance with Purpose has been an amazing success in offering a program that fosters each individual's potential while building great friendships along the way. Its success has led it to open its own dance studio at the following address. We wish you and the program all the best!

Folklorico
Learn the magnificant dance of Mexican heritage with a dedicated instructor and tight-knit group of wonderful dancers. A program brought to you free of charge, Folklorico at the Redlands Community Center is a special program that boys and girls of all ages will enjoy.

Belly Dancing
This introductory class is a non-impact program with an emphasis on stretching and fluid movement. It is taught by an active member of the Middle Eastern Culture and Dance Association (MEDCA), a professional organization which promotes and preserves belly dancing and its music as an art form.

Ballroom Dance Lessons - Ages 18 and over - No Partner Required! No Previous Dance Experience Necessary!
This affordable program will teach Hustle and Texas Two-Step during a six-week course. More dance types are coming soon! Future sessions will include Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Cha Cha, Samba, Salsa and East Coast Swing!

From our unique Music Changing Lives program to affordable enrichment courses like driver's education, we've put together a unique catalog of programs that offers an unbeatable experience at an affordable price.
Music Changing Lives \ Art Changing Lives
One of Redlands' most innovative youth programs, Music Changing Lives is a breakthrough initiative designed to foster each individual's musical talent by providing them with industry-standard, professional equipment, as well as one-on-one time with talented artists, producers, and DJ's. Also, to encourage the youth to succeed academically, one of the requirements to parcipate in the program is to keep school grades up. For more information, contact the instructor.

Guitar Lessons
Brought to you by a long-time guitarist and tutor, Frank Velasquez, your child can learn to play the guitar through a 8-week course designed to cover the fundamentals of the art. Frank encourages a positive atmosphere and provides guidance to keep students focused on the task at hand.

Dog Obedience Training
Teach your dog basic commands and socialization skills in Dog Obedience. The objectives of this class are to sit, heel, down, stay-sit, down-stay, recall, and stand for examination.

Driver's Education
This program is a pamphlet-based or online course that teaches safe, defensive driving. It also satisfies California's teen driving requirement to take the behind-the-wheel test before the age of 18.
Cost: $75.00 for online, $85.00 for home-study
