An armed man held up a video store shortly before closing Monday night.

Redlands Police received a call from the Hollywood Video store at 2052 W. Redlands Blvd. shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday, June 22.

The clerk working the front counter reported that a man entered the store dressed all in dark clothing, wearing a black ski mask and gloves and displayed a handgun.

The robber demanded that the clerk empty the cash drawers before forcing the clerk to a back room where another store employee was working.

The robber then escaped in a gray or silver mini-van.
